Great service from Dan and his team fixing our doors that were not closing properly. It turned out the hinge mechanism was a very unusual one and the doors had not been properly fitted originally. However, the lads persisted with a difficult job (another locksmith had tried and failed) and managed to fix them. They were very clear at all stages about what they were doing and offered advice on how to avoid the problem happening again. Very good communication before and during the visit, friendly and respectful (taking boots off etc.) and very knowledgeable of their trade. Recommend highly.

Just wow! Messaged this company this morning on Checkatrade, within half an hr Laura rang to say the tradesman could be out before 12 he arrived before 11, looked at my door explained exactly what had failed the manufacturer that makes them, the part needed cost and how the part failed. Had the part fitted there and then. Done additional adjusting to help with the opening and closing of the door, asked me to test to see if I was happy, also said to give him a call and he would be straight back out if any problems occurred. He was professional and a proper tradesman 100% recommend thanks Dan.
I only contacted Keyglaze yesterday and Laura arranged for Dan and Mike to come out today. The lads were lovely, professional, knowledgeable and fitted the new lock quickly and efficiently. Dan came out to initially board up and then replace the glass panel in my door following it shattering. He came within 45minutes of calling him on a Sunday – prompt, efficient and friendly service. We recently used this company to change our door lock that had jammed open and wouldnt shut or lock at all. Called on Wednesday to enquire about a quote for replacing 3 UPVC window locks that had seized, thus stopping the windows being fully closed/locked properly. Quote was very reasonable. Window beading was refitted following the window being popped for a furniture delivery
Dan was great, I was in a spot of bother trying to get our window beads refitted after having the window removed. Very responsive, was with me in around an hour of requesting the job and it was completed swiftly and competently. Very reasonably priced too. Would use again and recommend him too.
Replacement of 3 upvc window locks that had seized and were unable to lock fully.
Called on Wednesday to enquire about a quote for replacing 3 upvc window locks that had seized, thus stopping the windows being fully closed/locked properly. Quote was very reasonable-£95 per window. Guys came on the Friday morning (COVID secure with masks, distancing and disinfecting) all the locks were repaired swiftly, all mess was cleaned and the works undertaken was fully explained too. Would highly recommend!
Bedroom window was stuck open.
Dan gave me an estimate over the phone after seeing a photo of the problem. The guys turned up the same day and replaced hinges quickly and efficiently without mess. I was also advised on how to stop the problem recurring. I would be happy to recommend this company – they are friendly, straightforward and efficient.
Locks replaced in front door and window lock repaired
I have used Dan a number of times for locks, main door and a window lock fixed. Every time Dan has been on time or early and is so quick to do a repair! He is courteous and extremely helpful and has also at times charged us less than we expected due to discovering the issue wasn’t as serious as originally thought. Can’t recommend high enough, don’t go anywhere else, we certainly won’t be!
New window fitted
Really pleased with Dan’s work, he completed the job quickly and him and his work colleague wore masks for their visit which I appreciated. Dan was friendly and courteous and kept in good contact about when the replacement window was ready. The new window looks excellent ! Can’t praise this company enough. This is the second time I have asked them to do work for me and both times they have done an excellent job. They fitted four double glazed sealed units and also fixed a loose front door at no additional cost. The work was completed on time without any mess. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
