Window repair

Window handles and locking mechanisms replaced with new. Really good as windows were locked shut. Dan was also able to replace a cracked pain of glass – although not drafty it looked unsightly so made sense to get the work done whilst he was there . Work done over 2 appointments – always good service and as the landlord I was kept up to date and invoices In Timely manner. Communication is key when you’re not on site and this was good at all times.

Locked out with key jammed in lock at 45 degree angle! Crisis calmed!

UPVC door repairs Newcastle upon Tyne – “What can I say but absolutely fantastic service, sent pictures to Dan at 8.30 pm Saturday night, from these pictures he advised that the door could be repaired, I was very impressed. Dan came out at 10 am today after going to his suppliers, they didn’t have the parts required, he took the old locking mechanism out and took it with him to another suppliers in Washington, luckily they had the parts. Dan put the new locking mechanism on and took the old one away, he was polite, friendly, and a very tidy worker who did go the extra mile. Don’t use anyone else if you want a professional job done.”

After I had left her house, she phoned me to say that the door handle was too stiff for her to open it. When I phoned D.R Locks, he was very busy but agreed to find time between jobs to go to my mother’s house. I got to the house just a few minutes before him and he adjusted the locking mechanisms so that my mother could easily lock or unlock the door. No extra charge was requested. I recommend this tradesman.”
