Mechanism and lock failing on composite door and sticking

Just wow! Messaged this company this morning on Checkatrade, within half an hr Laura rang to say the tradesman could be out before 12 he arrived before 11, looked at my door explained exactly what had failed the manufacturer that makes them, the part needed cost and how the part failed. Had the part fitted there and then. Done additional adjusting to help with the opening and closing of the door, asked me to test to see if I was happy, also said to give him a call and he would be straight back out if any problems occurred. He was professional and a proper tradesman 100% recommend thanks Dan.

Replace lock on front door

I only contacted Keyglaze yesterday and Laura arranged for Dan and Mike to come out today. The lads were lovely, professional, knowledgeable and fitted the new lock quickly and efficiently. As my daughter is autistic, she struggles with any change so Laura let me know when the lads were on their way so I could get her settled. I can’t fault this company and would definitely use them again.

Dan came out at 10 am today after going to his suppliers, they didn’t have the parts required, he took the old locking mechanism out and took it with him to another suppliers in Washington, luckily they had the parts. Dan put the new locking mechanism on and took the old one away, he was polite, friendly, and a very tidy worker who did go the extra mile. Don’t use anyone else if you want a professional job done.”

When I phoned D.R Locks, he was very busy but agreed to find time between jobs to go to my mother’s house. I got to the house just a few minutes before him and he adjusted the locking mechanisms so that my mother could easily lock or unlock the door. No extra charge was requested. Dan did a brilliant job. He was quick, honest and professional. He repaired damage done by an amateur cowboy a few days before. I would recommend this local business to anyone needing a great quality locksmith. Just wish I had come to them first!

Dan advised one of hinge adjusters was damaged by previous adjustment but identified solution to swap good middle hinge with damaged top hinge Saved buying new one and he fixed it there and then All good door closing better than it has ever done since we moved in Very reliable and great communications from first call to completion Thanks Dan.

Excellent from start to finish! Contacted Dan for a non-emergency door repair on Friday evening. Phone was answered promptly and professionally. We quickly agreed a time for the repair for 10am the followed morning. Dan arrived on time and set straight to work. He very quickly had the door opened (with no damage) to gain access to the faulty mechanism, for which he had a spare on the van. Door back up and running within an hour of arriving. Would definitely use Dan again.
