Fixed two sets of French doors that were not closing properly

Great service from Dan and his team fixing our doors that were not closing properly. It turned out the hinge mechanism was a very unusual one and the doors had not been properly fitted originally. However, the lads persisted with a difficult job (another locksmith had tried and failed) and managed to fix them. They were very clear at all stages about what they were doing and offered advice on how to avoid the problem happening again. Very good communication before and during the visit, friendly and respectful (taking boots off etc.) and very knowledgeable of their trade. Recommend highly.

Rang in the morning and Dan came to sort broken hinges on window that wouldn’t close. Super prompt service Other repairers were either quoting higher price or couldn’t do job for a couple of weeks.

Replaced locking window handle

Dan responded promptly to my phone call and arranged an appointment with him within a few days to replace a broken window handle. He was tidy and worked quickly to get the job done. Would recommend and use again.

New lock on UPVC front window

Cloudy window glass was replaced and two window locks were repaired.

The work was completed to a high standard and I can now open my bedroom window easily opposed to before when I could not manage to open it. The cloudy glass has been replaced and is so much better than before. The work was very efficient and mess free.

Mechanism and lock failing on composite door and sticking

Just wow! Messaged this company this morning on Checkatrade, within half an hr Laura rang to say the tradesman could be out before 12 he arrived before 11, looked at my door explained exactly what had failed the manufacturer that makes them, the part needed cost and how the part failed. Had the part fitted there and then. Done additional adjusting to help with the opening and closing of the door, asked me to test to see if I was happy, also said to give him a call and he would be straight back out if any problems occurred. He was professional and a proper tradesman 100% recommend thanks Dan.

I only contacted Keyglaze yesterday and Laura arranged for Dan and Mike to come out today. The lads were lovely, professional, knowledgeable and fitted the new lock quickly and efficiently. As my daughter is autistic, she struggles with any change so Laura let me know when the lads were on their way so I could get her settled. Used Dan few times now. Excellent service. Excellent work. We had several windows in a rental property that wouldn’t open and shut . We were going to get them replaced as they were old. But Dan was able to repair and replace the hinges and made them good as new. And a door mechanism was causing issues with locking the door, replaced in no time. A lot of his materials are on his van so many occasions you will get a quick fix.

After I had left her house, she phoned me to say that the door handle was too stiff for her to open it. When I phoned D.R Locks, he was very busy but agreed to find time between jobs to go to my mother’s house. I got to the house just a few minutes before him and he adjusted the locking mechanisms so that my mother could easily lock or unlock the door. No extra charge was requested. I recommend this tradesman.”

Double Glazing repairs Newcastle – Our French windows handle had broken and Dan came out to have a look. Unfortunately he doesn’t deal with doors like ours as it’s very old and basically needs completely replacing. Dan did everything he could to secure it for us while we organise the replacement and he has recommended a colleague to do it for us. He also didn’t charge us for coming to have a look, which was very kind!

Replacement of glass units for existing upvc windows

Dan and his team replaced several glass units in windows of our first home. The work was carried out efficiently and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend their service.

Window hinges and Door lock

Double glazing repairs Newcastle – Used Dan few times now. Excellent service. Excellent work. We had several windows in a rental property that wouldn’t open and shut . We were going to get them replaced as they were old. But Dan was able to repair and replace the hinges and made them good as new. And a door mechanism was causing issues with locking the door, replaced in no time. A lot of his materials are on his van so many occasions you will get a quick fix.

Dan was excellent from the very start, he arrived on time for the quote he was friendly and polite. The quote was reasonable so I booked him in the following week. Again he arrived on time and they worked quickly and efficiently and I couldn’t be happier with the finished product! I’m a single mum so I’m nervous when tradesmen have to come into my house, Dan put me at ease straight away and I would highly recommend him.
